Kappazeta’s prospective Clients have seen cracks on the walls or floors of their house or, more in general, they need to increase the load-bearing capacity of the foundation ground before the addition of extra storeys. When they contact Kappazeta, they will immediately realize Kappazeta’s will to analyze their problem with competence and thoroughness.
The first operative step, in fact, consists in a free on-the-spot survey of Kappazeta Engineers and Geologists to study the characteristics of the structure and of the foundation ground, determine whether the intervention is possible and provide details of the exact extension and quotation of the intervention itself.
This procedure assures the Clients that their buildings will be given the greatest attention and that they will be granted reliable, unbiased, qualified professional advice.
Planning the intervention
The exact date of the intervention is then scheduled in compliance with the Client’s needs and requests.
The average yard operates within only two days and it does not usually cause any inconvenience.
The equipment necessary for the injections is installed on very agile vehicles that can remain even at a distance of 100 m from the building, permitting operations on internal bearing walls or in basements with no operational problems at all.
A step-by-step monitored intervention
A thin pipe is inserted through the holes which have been bored and expanding resin is injected slowly and continuously until soil compaction has reached its highest possible level.
This is usually proved by a millimetric lifting of the structure itself, which is monitored in real time with laser levels.
The constant presence of a qualified team during the whole procedure is important: the Client will always be in a position to make sure that each step is thoroughly supervised from beginning to end and that Kappazeta staff is always available to provide explanation.
